PES Covid-19 Statement

At Power Engineering Services, we are proud to confirm that we have complied fully with Government Guidance on managing the risk of Covid-19.

We have completed the 5 steps to ensure minimum risk to our Employees.

  • We have carried out a thorough risk assessment and have shared the details with all our Employees.

  • We have cleaning, handwashing, sanitisation, and other hygiene procedures in place.

We have also provided additional Covid-19 PPE in line with Government Guidance and this has been distributed to all working Employees, along with training on safe usage.

  • Our Employees who can work from home will be supported do so for the foreseeable future.

  • We have taken all the reasonable steps to maintain 2-meter distancing, including displayed signage around the building, marked individual working areas, along with measured 2-meter floor markings in all common areas of our building.

  • And where 2-meter distancing cannot be obtained, we have done everything we practically can to minimise the risk to our staff.

We are also happy to announce that we are slowly phasing our furloughed staff back to work, in a safe and controlled manner.

Our Company Policy ‘Staying Covid-19 Secure’ details how we have implemented the above 5 steps as well as the additional precautionary Covid-19 procedures now in place at PES.

This Policy is available to all employees and is also provided on all ongoing projects alongside our standard PES Risk and Method Statements.

Our Customers, Suppliers and Contractors can view our Covid-19 Risk Assessment and ‘ Staying Covid-19 Policy’ at request via email to harriet@pesleeds.co.uk.

We hope that you are all staying safe and well at this time, and we at PES wish you all the best for the future.
