Yesterday we celebrated International Women in Engineering Day!
This day has a new meaning for us this year at PES as just this month we have been lucky enough to employ Shannon, our first female Electrical Apprentice!
We applaud Shannon for smashing stereotypes and showing just how much talent and worth women bring to the engineering industry.
With only 13% of the general engineering workforce being female, I’m honoured to be actively seeking and promoting a more diverse engineering team at PES!
We wish Shannon all the best in her Engineering career. I, along with all at PES will support her completely in her apprenticeship here and career beyond.
